Support Amy McCorkle’s Feature Film: A Story of Healing, Friendship, and Hope
Filmmaker Amy Leigh McCorkle is bringing a heartfelt feature film to life, one that follows Rebekah’s journey through the mental health system as she works to heal, rebuild her life, and find her voice.
At its heart, this film is about more than one person’s struggle. It is a story about friendship, love, loss, understanding, and redemptive healing. Through Rebekah’s eyes, audiences are invited to see mental health facilities not as places to fear, but as hospitals of the mind, filled with people from different cultures, backgrounds, genders, and economic circumstances who are simply trying to put their lives back together.
The film features a talented group of local actors and actresses, along with a special appearance by Santiago Cirilo of The Walking Dead. Together, they are helping tell an authentic and compassionate story that shines a light on mental health, human connection, and the power of being truly seen.
Funds raised will help cover essential production needs, including paying, feeding, and housing the cast and crew, along with incidentals and post-production expenses. Amy’s current fundraising goal is $600, with proceeds going directly toward helping complete the film.
Every donation, share, and word of encouragement helps move this meaningful project forward.
